The forum was set up at an event in March 2006. Since then various organisations have been involved in the steering group to move things forward.

Create a partnership of Disabled people's groups to share information and ideas.

Ensure disabled people are involved in decision making groups at all levels.

Help disabled people to have a say and be heard.
